We’re living in interesting times… You can call them challenging, but it really comes down to how you choose to look at it.
If you see everything through “fear glasses,” of course it will feel overwhelming. Try switching to a different pair—neutral—and notice how the perspective shifts. And if you’re feeling adventurous, reach for another pair tucked away somewhere: curiosity. Put them on and see what changes.
While you’re experimenting with your lenses, here are a few herbal tips that may help support your body along the way. These are not medical claims, just gentle, traditional wellness suggestions.
And most importantly—take care of your mind. Stress, worry, and fear can take a toll on the body. So slow down, sip on a calming tea (like chamomile, linden, or lavender), and take a moment to breathe.

Elderberries (Sambucus nigra) – A great natural remedy to support your body during cold and flu season. It may help shorten the duration of symptoms, support immune function, and ease occasional cough.
You might come across mixed opinions online about elderberries—but they’ve been used for generations and are widely appreciated in traditional wellness practices.
But the most important thing is your sanity. Stress, worry and FEAR suppress your immune system and make you more prone to catching any viruses. So, drink some calming tea (like chamomile, linden or lavender), meditate and BREATHE!

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a well-known warming herb traditionally used to support digestion and overall well-being. It may help ease occasional discomfort and is widely appreciated for its soothing properties—especially when traveling or during times of imbalance.

Garlic (Allium sativum)—loved by some, not so much by others—is a classic in traditional wellness. It’s often valued for its natural antimicrobial properties and its role in supporting the body’s defenses.
Not a fan of the taste? No worries—I’ve got a few easy ways to include it without scaring anyone away 😉 Just ask!
