We live in very interesting times… You can call it challenging, but it really comes to HOW you look at it. If you look at all that’s happening through your FEAR glasses, you will be scared and worried. If you look at it through a different pair – NEUTRAL – you will be surprised how different it looks! There is another pair of glasses you might find in your drawer (it might be in the very corner of it) – CURIOSITY. Put them on and be amazed! And while you are playing with your glasses, I’d like to share a couple of herbal tips that might be useful to support your body, so you can play better. This is not a medical, professional advice, but rather a recommendation.

But the most important thing is your sanity. Stress, worry and FEAR suppress your immune system and make you more prone to catching any viruses. So, drink some calming tea (like chamomile, linden or lavender), meditate and BREATHE!

Elderberries (Sambucus nigra ) – awesome remedy to prevent or to shorten the duration of a flu and its symptoms. It’s an immunostimulant and also helps when you have a cough. One person told me that there was an article about elderberries NOT being helpful for the current virus. So what? One article against an ancient wisdom and history of positive results? Your choice. The “worst case scenario” it will make your immune system stronger and help you not to get sick in the future with common cold or with a flu.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale ) – another awesome immunostimulant with antispasmodic and carminative properties. The best-known therapeutic application of ginger is as treatment for motion sickness.

Garlic (Allium sativum ) – besides being yummy for some and stinky and unpleasant for others, it’s another member of the immunostimulants team! It’s antimicrobial as well. And if you totally dislike the taste or don’t want to scare people away, ask me for a recipe!
